At SaverLife, we believe change begins with our members (like you!). Your story, your goals, and your unique perspective have the power to shift how the financial system supports people living on low-to-moderate incomes.

That’s why SaverLife works closely with our members to unlock new insights on financial health. The feedback SaverLife members provide inspires programs, products, and policies that can actually address everyone’s challenges and support everyone’s aspirations.

Which is why it’s so important we all participate in the upcoming election this November.

When you cast your vote, you uplift your voice and influence policies that can support the millions of people working to achieve their financial health goals. Your vote can affect policies and programs like tax credits, interest rates, inflation, the cost of housing, healthcare, childcare, public benefit programs, and jobs just to name a few.

Some may say that their votes won’t make a difference. But that is not true. Sometimes, elections are decided by a single vote. Others may feel fed up with ads for candidates attacking each other. And I agree; it’s disheartening. I’m voting anyway.

Key voting issues that impact finances

There are a lot of reasons to vote in the 2026 election, but a few specific issues could directly impact your savings and financial health.

  1. Economy and job growth
  2. Cost of living and affordability
  3. Civil liberties and rights
  4. Healthcare
  5. Reproductive rights
  6. Immigration
  7. Public benefits and assistance programs

Each party has a stance on the key voting issues. Make sure you’re informed about the stance of both parties before election day.

Curious about your state and local elections? These elections determine more regional aspects of our daily lives like education, public safety, and services like libraries and trash pickup.

Every state is different, so make sure you know who and what’s on your ballot this November.

Now that you know why it’s important to vote and what the key issues are, it’s time to exercise your right.
