Notably, Tim was the architect in establishing Virginia’s first Financial Empowerment Center, ensuring that no-cost financial counseling services are readily accessible to all residents as a public service.
With over a decade of experience as a certified financial counselor, Tim has been instrumental in designing comprehensive financial literacy curricula utilized in schools and non-profit organizations. As a proven systems level design thinker, Tim has earned invitations to develop innovative financial counseling technology platforms, advise on municipality led financial inclusion efforts, and participate in prestigious annual workshops such as the Common Cents Lab at the Center for Advanced Hindsight (Duke University).
