What are some good saving savings suggestions?
First determine your goal and purpose, then review your earnings and expenses and create a budget. If you have problems sticking with a budget, it will be a trial and error. My suggestion would be trying to save $10-$20 per pay period to begin to get an emergency fund. Don't be afraid to open a second bank account and set up automatic deposits. Challenge yourself and make it fun for you. When you reach a goals….celebrate it as a win and keep going. Stay focused and you will watch your savings grow.

I find setting up automatic processes like these help take the decision away from me (where I can waver to save or not save) and lead to a nice nest egg over time:

That's a good way to do things. I have dental work scheduled next month and have been putting aside money every week to help cover the cost. In the past, dental procedures always got put on my credit card.
Do hard
I'm thinking maybe go with 2 rainy day savings accounts. Put $10 or $20 into a savings account for goal aimed savings and put say $5 into an emergency account for the unexpected like your employer stiffed you on your paycheck or you suddenly get laid off.
But the key is discipline If you declare an emergency every time you're short on cash you'll never save anything.
I suggest set up a recurring savings that aligns with your pay day, and have it go directly into a savings account – preferably one that is separate from your main bank, so that you do not need the balance daily and therefore are not tempted to spend it.
For example, my main bank is metro credit union. However, I have a recurring savings of $40 to go into a separate savings account every pay period.
Following * Not sure if there is another way to do this.
I try to save one a week.
