I set up an automatic $35 transfer to savings weekly and it's starting to add up. $5 a day I can do for now. What about y'all?

@Earl - I do something similar. I have a weekly budget for myself for necessities, and anything I don't spend from that week goes to my savings
I automatically save $55 per pay in two external savings accounts. One is for my emergency savings acct and the other is for a vacation/ holiday fun. The small amounts definitely add up over time. Almost at $1700!!
I do the same as @Danielle B. I save whatever is left of the balance of my weekly "allowance". I saved $600 this way last year which I put into my IRA.
Thanks for sharing, Earl. $5 per day is very reasonable and a good savings tip. I'm going to put that in to play and see how well I can stick to it.
I still throw change in a jar and then deposit it in the bank when it’s full (a little more challenging now covid has made cash unpopular)
I Just started at 5 buks a week but it seems helpful
I send $15 a week automatically, then whatever is left at the end of the month. That way at least something is going every week.
I do $50 a week it adds up quick
