Hopefully, we'll be able to travel now that the vaccine is coming out.
What are some budget-friendly travel destinations?

Staycation in the tent backyard…. Hotel in local city.
spend less
Bali
Cruises are a great value & many are offering steep discounts right now. All food, entertainment, and lodging is included. Definitely makes it easier to stay within a budget
Our local hotels won't let you stay…I miss local stays with the pools and hot tubs!
One thing that helped my family (when travel was acceptable/allowed), was to pack a cooler with apples and/or oranges, jelly, and carrots. Sometimes we had room for a little bit of cheese. Then a box filled with sandwich bread, peanut butter, nuts/crackers, butter knives. This way, we were able to eat a few meals (when not at a place that provided them for no cost); it also cut down on paying extra at "convenience stores".
Depending on how long one's travel/stay is, and how much food needed to satiate each meal, this could help cut down costs.
However, I do agree that a staycation might be the best way to save money [and potentially stay healthy].
@Shari S If local hotels won't let you stay…do you have friends or family who are willing to host a "camping trip"? If so, perhaps you could take turns hosting.
That’s a fantastic idea
Go hiking in national parks
Tent camping, especially at a place that allows fishing is great.
Go to the beach for walk or to the parks will be a safe idea.
Going to the beach is a great idea
