This week I found myself in this situation fee times but I push myself to drive home to eat. It is hard but I only want to buy food when I really need to.

Have a nice day!

Take snacks or meals with you when you are out. I generally take snacks to work to avoid the vending machines which has high prices of $1.75 or more.

The hunger feeling comes in waves and within a few minutes it goes away. You won't actully starve (though it sometimes feels like you could). You can actually distract yourself from thinking about it (music or podcast?) and ride it out until you get home to eat.

I like to keep cereal bars or little snacks that won't need Refrigeration in my purse. It kind of helps if you get hungry while you're out. Also having a drink with you will help with that. Adulting is hard sometimes LOL

Like Elena said bring snacks, nuts or a banana will fix you right up!

You should definitely keep snacks and a bottle of water on you. Many diabetics keeps snacks to make sure they eat throughout the day.

As previously stayed, taking snacks with you helps to eat healthier and to save money. I’m trying to eat for free at work.

This is a challenge for me too - on days when I pack enough filling food, I feel so much better physically and financially!

Nuts, water and dehydrated fruit make a somewhat healthy snack to get you through the day. If you have a refrigerator at your disposal then some whole raw veggies or fresh fruits can substitute for dehydrated fruits.

I agree about having snacks in the car helps, but you have to remember to update them once you eat them all lol. Also I try to always eat first before going grocery shopping or to a store that I know has snacks that I like. When I go shopping hungry I always end up buying Multiple snacks that I don’t even eat.
