When I have an item I'm wanting but need to save I'll start saving all my lose change and when I need to go somewhere I'll leave my credit cards at home to avoid spontaneous perching. Also I'll stay at home more so that the temptation of wanting to spend won't be in the way.

Yes, they say that people are saving more since the pandemic started.
When buying online use the download, ebates. It gives you cashback (they send a check to your house quarterly). I don't know how it is worth it for them/the stores, but sometimes they even give 15% back on your purchase. They also tell you when another store has something cheaper. If you use my referral code you automatically get $40.
Is rakuten the same as ebates?

Yes, Rakuten is Ebates new name.
^^ Thank you Elena! Ebates used to charge a fee but since Rakuten took over, they don't.

Don’t use credit cards. Only use money you have. You end up paying more for a item because of the interest.
I agree I am staying home alot more and I also save all of my loose change and sometimes the dollar bills too.
I have different apps I use it banks and check the store or website I want to buy something to get money back or a discount. Very purchase I make literally gives me something back or else I feel like I’m throwing money out.

5 a week for me
Thanks
I make a list before going shopping, and I stick to it. The only time I will purchase something not on my list is if it is on clearance or has a good sale price and it is something I need (not a want!). When purchasing non-food items, I do so at online stores, and I don't purchase right away. I give myself some time to decide if I really need the item(s), so I put them in the cart and save it. If, after a couple of days, I still feel it's a need, I go ahead and check out. Most of the time, I change my mind (haha!).
I buy the basic for my family.
I spend a dollar save a dollar give a dollar
Thank God for his divine timing

Think about why you are spending money. Then take that knowledge and implement a new spending budget even if it is as simple as giving you ability to save a dollar, spend a dollar give a dollar a week.
