Slowly but it's getting bigger which is the goal.
Savings is always a good thing. Save for 3-6 months of emergency fund.
I'm saving bi-weekly as I get paid. Still building on my 3-6 month emergency fund.
I am saving about 150 a week to put away for my emergency fund. You never know when you will need to pay something high in a bill.

Once you have 6 to 12 months of living expenses plus a bit more in an unexpected emergency fund you should really start to invest. Savings serve as a safety cushion. Wealth comes from investing.
Saving is difficult with so many everyday expenses. Best way to save it to automate it from checking account to savings account, be it $10.00 per pay check. it becomes $260 at the end of the year without even knowing it.

This is SO true, @Anuradha! Saving even a bit every paycheck really does add up in the long run. Set it and forget it!
