Yes, Medicaid is wonderful for a lot of people. If you don't qualify for Medicaid or need help with medical bills, check with your local healthcare systems to see if they offer any discounts or payment plans for low-income households. I just found out that one of the largest groups in my area offers 100% discount for families of 4 that make up to $65,000/year! You just have to fill out a short form. They said it's "no questions asked" after you turn it in. They also offer no-interest payment plans.
I am glad that some people are able to get help with their medical bills.
