Our new provider UMR offers estimator on website to estimate costs for medical services. I have found this frustrating but would like to know if others have also found it frustrating. I'm having foot surgery and have the codes for the procedures…. the estimator doesn't have these codes or procedures listed… and from what I can see only about 1/4 of procedures are available for estimation.
Anyone use an estimator before procedures to get an idea of what your portion of costs will be?? TIA
