My wife and I are retired and in need of a car loan with our credit union.We have been denied due to more debt than income, and will have to try and upgrade with a car loan from a dealership which will be higher interest rate probably. I just think it's terrible when a person helps there families out there whole life and giving even if it meant going into debt to make sure they were ok and then you get older and can't get decent help when you need it, like from a credit union that your a member of but they won't do anything to ease the burden with a lower interest loan, just saying.
