When I get my SSA money 10%must come out for myself. When I can pay more I do. But it's a must you pay yourself first and foremost now this money is not to be messed with for no reason so it can grow until after a year. It's works and I saved

Ever run into times when you have to pay bills & you can't pay yourself first?

I feel paying yourself should be part of your budget. If you can't pay yourself 10%, $5.00 is better than nothing.

Never really though about paying myself. Always pay others first. Definitely must try this out.

Paying yourself first is a great way. That's why 401k contributions are done from the paycheck before it's deposited. It works well even outside of life. However, there are instances where you can't really do that because its hard to make ends meet (this is cutting anything out that is unnecessary). In such cases the cold hard truth is that you need to make more money. Check out the side hustle topic on this site to see some ideas.

I know it's hard to do, but you are important too. And I agree you need a side hustle 🤠 but it can be done if you budget right that was my biggest downfall I didn't know how to budget
