I really wish February was like all the other months for me. But for some reason, it always seems that this month is the hardest for me to save more than any other. I think it is because I see it as it is the shortest month, with the least days of pay, the most expenses, and honestly our highest bills of the year.
I tried something new this year by paying ahead on a few items during December and November but that really didn't help, because when I saw the over all amount out there we still have to pay out, it is a bit overwhelming.
I am not complaining and I know we can do it, it's just the point I wanted to make that this particular month is never easy for budgeting extra money out with the shorter days to work.

Lol… I guess that's a positive way to look at it.
My power bill may be higher in February. This may be a challenge.
My power bill and gas bill run around $100 each and I just got them caught up and bam here comes Feb & March and I back to try and catch them up . I feel like I'm chasing my tail .

🤭 Sorry this made me chuckle… for some reason ours was also sky high this month also. Instead of the normal it literally tripled this month. No joke. Who knows why, I called our server and I asked is this an actual bill and they said yes. I was like are you sure? We haven't used anymore this month than another month, heck I am the only one home most days. She said I understand but this is the actual bill. I wanted to die. So, needless to say, this is always the hardest month for us to save anything.
Plus we had an increase in our water bill. Then we had another one in our sewage bill that we got this month.
On the plus side, the news paper said we will have a $3 decrease in our total gas bill in the next few months to look forward to. Lol
