I personally prefer a store I dont have to play mind games with. ALdis is always lower than the retail grocer…even when there is a sale and a coupon

@Roger - I agree. I also like grocery store outlet! we have one near us and it's great. the prices for things are way lower, and sometimes it's just because the regular grocery store nearby just needs more room for their products. most of the expirations dates aren't for months too, which is nice. the best finds are the frozen items.

Couponing has never worked for me. I agree that Aldi’s, Save-A-Lot or any Food Outlet type store literally beats any coupon and on everything. I would definitely give it a try!

I love using the Ibotta app through my phone. It's like using coupons without clipping. For groceries, simply review the available products and select those you wish to use. For some stores, you can connect your loyalty card and the app does the tallying for you – bam, cash in your account! For others, you have to scan the product you purchase and your receipt. For online, non-grocery store purchases, you simply click the store in the app and are redirected to the online store's site. You get whatever offer was presented – a percentage of your purchase back or a flat amount. I've earned about $250 over the past couple of years. You an either cash out or cash in for gift cards to tons of national stores.

I found couponing to be very overwhelming at first. So I chose my favorite store, dollar general and started there. I started off just using the dollar general app, clipping digital coupons, looking for there quarterly clearance sales which are epic by the way, and doing my shopping on Saturdsy because there is a 5$ off 25$ every Saturday. I then started clipping paper coupons and I remember the first time my total was 26$ and I got it all the way down to 7$ I was very excited. I suggest following Christa coupons on youtube, her and her team of 2 admins go above and beyond to help us save, I will never pay 5$ for laundry detergent again. I used to buy the generic, but today for example I got my tide simply for 1.85, normally 2.45, my tide pods with downy had a 2$ coupon, anyhow 27 was my total after my digital coupons I paid 9$ oop(out of pocket) i am starting to branch out like i fill a lot of prescriptions every month, therefore I d ou downloaded there app, for every 10 prescriptions filled I receive 5 in extra care bucks, a free 5$ for simply creating an account and having them scan my card and using it for things that I was doing anyway so if I'm already going to fill my prescriptions might as well have them scan my card and get my free $5 every month or six weeks. So suggestions start small you Digital Coupons download the Dollar General Store app, clip all coupons, you'll learn pretty quick how to navigate around the site there's a place where you can says list you can go in skin products he'll pull up coupons that are available for that product and keep track of how much money you're spending and what you're going to save. And I started with one store because I had to get really good at that one to go to the next now I'm working on CVS because like I said I'm already shopping there and fill my prescriptions there so might as well get free money for things in morning doing anyway with that store. So back on track for beginners starting out if you like the dollar store you buy high jeans there your cleaning supplies diapers anything really download the app create your account, follow Christa Coupons on youtube, search through her account on YouTube and find specifically Dollar Store couponing couponing for beginners watch some of her videos you won't believe how much money you could have been saving all these years. Also go on Facebook there's a group called "The Penney list", which going there make sure you read all the rules and do not break a rule and watch some of the videos on their the penny list is a whole separate ballgame the very fun and something you can add in once you learn how to keep on and plan and recognize your products but you already planning to buy anyway and saving 50% or more on those products. But also on Facebook go to #Powered by coupons" group and again read all of the instructions she doesn't like being in people from her groups but you have to read the rules, and I started off screenshotting people's deals copying their deals taking pictures of what they bought I'm seeing if I can get my total like they did and then I was start creating my own scenarios and everyone there is very helpful helpful you do have to put work behind it they're not just going to tell you everything and use their time but they will answer questions, they will help you, and most likely there's going to be a post with the majority of questions already answered or YouTube video posted in that group about any question or scenario or anything you might not understand is going to be already posted or answered in that group you just have to do your research and look for it or on her YouTube page as well. One more thing and I know this is a lot somebody admits in the Ibotta app and yes I do turn my receipts and cash or gift cards there's an app called Fetch Rewards it's a lot less technical than I bought it because you don't have to go through in plan and check everything you're going to buy in order to get the rebate you just gave me a receipt and it gives you points and couple of receipts will be up to 10000 points and you could easily cash out for a $10 prepaid Mastercard or you can let it build up and get of course more amounts more options but when you start shopping at the dollar store grocery receipts even if you're not keep running at the grocery stores yet scan in every grocery receipt because they are where the points out of you can go in the face shop and look at things that give you the most points and if you buy those things anyway make sure your skin the receipt you can get so much cash back on the fetch Rewards app. Wall separate from couponing once again it's free money instead of throwing your receipts away skin them first everybody's pretty helpful it's self explanatory and once you get that first reward which depending on how big your household is in with everybody being in a school and work people are spending more money at the grocery stores heck even ask your friends if they just throw the receipt away or aren't interested or just don't have time to do this say hey every time you go to the grocery store save your receipts. Some people may say couponing is like a second job maybe before all these digital coupon came out and Ali's apps that help you but now if you just want to catch your bill in half and save 4275 80% and then use the receipts to earn cash it's amazing and honestly doesn't take that much time just to clip Digital Coupons Chris's Pages even go as far as to give you scenarios each week different types of scenarios and get you a very very lot of pocket. I know this is a lot of information but go back up to where I said start small and just use digital start with the Dollar General and download the app, read through some stuff on the Dollar General app, Fetch rewards in your play store, Christa coupons on YouTube and powered by coupons Facebook group start with those four things shop on Saturday and you won't believe what you been missing. I have a pretty good stockpile going where 7 people my household somebody says I'm going to shave her conditioner I just go to my back here you go so I need laundry soap here you go Bottles & Bottles up on laundry soap and shampoo conditioner body wash razors picture this scenario the good razors Bic Soleil are on sale this week for $3 on the dollar store digital coupon app there is a $4 coupon so they're on sale for $3 that gives you a dollar overage now they won't ever give you the overage back in cash but that dollar overage gives you free razors and puts a free dollar towards the rest of your purchase. I'm new to this website and I will in Binky planning for maybe a little over two years and this year I decided I save all my receipt because I want to see how much I spend and more importantly how much I save at the end of the year so I'm saving every receipt all year long. That I'm new to this app I join us after freebie mom and I don't know how it works if you guys can reply to this post and ask me questions but feel free to do so I love helping people I will teach you I will direct you in the right way I will share my scenarios with you I will tell you about great deals anything you need I will help. Thank you all for taking the time to read and I hope you all really enjoy saving money $$$ as well as earning free money from things you were already going to purchase anyway.

I just posted about my coupon journey if you get the time for a read. I tried to shorten it but ended up with a short story. Lol, anyhow I love ibotta, was wondering if you've heard of Fetch Rewards? Similar in a sense, however you dont have to preplan, however if you do have time you can always skim through there products. But you literally shop as normal. I look for things that I know I'm going to buy because that is where the points add up. I love shopping and less hassle fetch has over ibotta. Just shop, scan your receipts, and let the points add up and convert them to gift cards or things you need.

I love coupons I did it so well for a little while that I had saved up for a vacation like that so I thought I’d try it again with this one and see if I can’t do it again.

I miss couponing it started out time consuming but then got easier and then life happened and got busier and I stopped but I know there was stuff I didn’t have to purchase such as toothpaste and deodorant. Every dollar that you can save counts and add up.

I love Ibotta, and Dollar General app is awesome I haven't paid more that $5 for laundry soap and fabric softener together in months. Also how I get our body wash, shampoo, Lotions and cleaning supplies super cheap.

I coupon shop all the time as well. I love to see how much money I can save by shopping with coupons combined with the store sales for the week. I don’t think it’s worth substituting items I enjoy though just for a Lower price that may not make a big difference.

I love to shop with coupons. The best part is trying to get things to the lowest price possible. Free is what I really like

iBotta is a great app, I have gotten a good amount of payouts for buying stuff I normally buy already.
It's worth using.
For digital and paper coupons I love Kroger. They personalize some of your coupons based on previous transactions.
I often search CouponSherpa.com if I have a brand in mind.
thekrazycoupnlady.com is an awesome resource if you are serious about couponing!
