There are more costs associated with everything in life because you have a child. If you are able to put this credit into a savings for the child, great! If not, use it on the bills that you have to support your child.

I've saved up the money and spent only on things they need
I use it to pay bills with ours and spend it on the children's needs not what they want.

Honestly, I have had a hard time saving anything with the current cost of living.
I like the advance credits it helped my family move forward. It came in the right time.
